Registered Veterinary Nurse, kitten foster carer and Founder, Jasmin Paul, has always had a passion for animals for as long as she could remember, which is what inspired her to start The Kitten Nursery Australia (TKNA) in 2018.
Operating as a registered charity within Western Australia, TKNA is both an educational initiative and fostering project with a mission to help provide the highest level of care for neonatal kittens.
Neonatal kittens (kittens less than 3 weeks old) are often the most vulnerable populations in shelters and rescues. Unfortunately, many are euthanised due to their specialised needs and lack of people able to care for them, or they are inappropriately cared for and so consequently pass away. As the Founder and Chairperson of TKNA, Jasmin would like to not only prevent unnecessary euthanasia and reduce the feral kitten population through sterilisation, but also educate and support other kitten foster carers.
We believe every kitten should have access to quality
care & be able to get the best start in life.
Our mission is to ensure that all neonatal kittens receive the quality care they deserve, and go on to live their lives in loving forever homes.
We want to provide neonatal kittens with the best possible care while helping to educate other foster carers in the community on how they can too.
