How to determine the age of your kitten

Determining a kitten’s approximate age can be done by comparing their weight and developmental stage. On average, kittens should gain about 100 grams a week, however if your kitten is underweight or sick when they come into care, their weight may not be an accurate indicator of age. Alternatively, you can identify your kitten's age (and ideal weight) by looking at their developmental stage.
